PARK ATTENDANT / MAINTENANCE WORKERS - DOWNLOAD APPLICATION HERE
HIRING FOR 3 POSITIONS - OPEN UNTIL FILLED - HIRING IMMEDIATELY
$13-$16/ hour depending on experience. Dates of work: April - October. 20-25 hours per week.
This position performs maintenance work primarily at outdoor parks .Receives direct supervision from the Parks Manager. Assist in the operation and general maintenance of the parks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the ability to interact positively and constructively with the general public and co-workers, have a willingness to learn, and proven dependability

• Must be 18 years of age
• A valid Michigan Driver's License
• Working knowledge of the maintenance construction trades, including painting, carpentry, electrical and electronic repair, plumbing, etc.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing preventive and emergency maintenance practices
• Operating knowledge of a variety of mowers, brush hogs, edgers, chainsaws and other equipment used in park maintenance
• Working knowledge of the proper use of manual and power tools commonly used in the maintenance construction trades
• Perform other duties, as required
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems as it relates to facility mechanical systems and miscellaneous operation issues
• Work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends & holidays)
• The employee will be required to work outside, in all weather conditions, and in both elevated and confined spaces
